K20 Swap Problem.

K20 Swap Problem.

Hey Guys I have a Little Problem... My car runs great but from 4k to 5900 it stumbles and falls on its face. but from 6k to 7200 it pulls. Anyone know what my problem could be? I had AutoZone Scan my car and it came back with P1166... So I had my friend who did my wiring come over and fix it by adding a relay. But it stil Stumbles and i have a CEL. Could it be cause im running a Type S O2 Sensor on an a3? Or that im only running a Primary O2 Sensor. MY Mods are

AEM CAI
DC race header
K100
HOndata IMG
Apexi World sport.

Injectors are 310cc... Applications? Fuel maps? I dont have K-pro...

HondaLuver will become famous soon enough
if its a si engine, you have to run the si 02 sensors, if you have kpro, it shouldnt' be a problem, im not sure what that code is... get the right sensors

why are you using 310cc's when the k20a3's use 240?

I hope your car is tuned for it.

i had to buy and Intake Manifold and well they came with the Intake manifold could that be my problem?

if you're running 310cc injectors when the stock computer calls for 240, then you're gonna have a problem.

unless your k100 is already tuned for a k20a3 motor with 310cc injectors.

you gotta make sure every single part on that motor is correct. that's the only insurance you have that the motor is setup for max power and max reliance. do you have a spec sheet on the appropriate part numbers you need for your engine, etc? check your equipment vs. the swap DIY lists, etc.

do you got the part # for the relay, im throwing the same code and swapped the a3 so let me know how u fix that and does your car rattle like a bitch between 1500 rpm to 2500 rpm?

yeah its the motor mounts that make the vibrations.... also there uis no part number is just a universial relay that you can buy at shucks... My Problem is stil there but now stumbles at 5k instead of 4k... i think my 05 Type S o2 primary is bad.

It might be the sensor since it's a3 and you're usin a type s sensor...my friend ran into the same problem and it's fine now..

jeez why can't stuff ever work? so what is the code for? the primary 02 is the only one for a/f so maybe its bad or just not the right one. you mention dc race header, does it have a bung or did you have to make your own.
