Dyno Chart at 6 psi

195 whp at 6 psi wasn't bad
I'll be turning it up to make over 250whp (hopefully around 300 whp) I want to try maxing out my turbo, we'll see what numbers I get tomorrow.

Damn are you making that much because of the AEM EMS? Because all you have is the turbo kit, clutch and that AEM EMS. If so that AEM EMS is the ****

Well, there was alot of work that went into this setup, this isn't a kit you can just go out and buy, it took alot of time to gather everything and alot of custom work for all of my pipes, intake manifold, copper sprayed headgasket and intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, etc. By no means is it only because of the aem but I will say that it definitely played a factor.

Yeah but pretty much a turbo kit is a turbo kit right? Probley not exactly but around the same thing as a Dezod kit? I know the IM conversion I've heard give 10 hp w/o turbo and around 18hp w/ turbo. Everybody else makes that on 9 psi and your 3 psi less then that? Thats a big difference

Yeah, this was on the AEM. I think we could have gotten the timing closer to MBT, but the dyno broke and I've been waiting for them to get it fixed ever since.

Ok, I have a t3/t4e 50 trim with an SFP manifold. My intercooler pipes are 2.25 from the turbo to the intercooler and 2.5 from the intercooler to the intake manifold. The intercooler is roughly 2 ft X 8 in X 3 in. Downpipe is full 2.5" stainless. Tial 35mm wastegate with open dump tube. Intake manifold is d16y8. RC 440cc's. Walbro 255lph in tank fuel pump. AEM EMS. All of my piping was done custom by one fab (big on Honda-Tech). Tune was done by Protech Motorsports in Austin, Texas. Clutch is an Action 6 puck 2MD. Running on 15" BFG Drag Radials. I am running returnless, FYI.
Coming soon:
CP Pistons-9.5:1
Pauter I Beam Rods
PCV Elimination (Easily another 15whp off the bat)

Not really. I had to wire it up backwards to eliminate the CEL on the emanage. It read backwards so when I got the ultimate, I set it to read backwards but I never got the ultimate to work right anyways so when I went with the AEM I didn't have to worry about the CEL's at all anymore or the ECU trying to correct. Ah, standalone is so much nicer

And thanks for all the kind words guys, just wait until I turn up the boost and post over 250whp (hopefully close to 300.)

positive crankcase ventilation. i'm not clear exactly what its for, only that its needed for emissions. i guess with the ems hes not gonna get a cel coming on.

I doubt PCV to the atmosphere with a mere breather filter gains 15whp. It is more like 1-2whp.

The addition of the PCV into your intake system dilutes the octane value of you gas, therefore making it more prone to dentonation. On an N/A set-up, it is fine to route it back into the intake because the ECU has a certain amount of control measures through use of knock sensors and such to control the dentonation for the pre-programmed air inlet and fuel control.

With the additon of boost, (increased air flow & fuel delivery), the ECU has to be coaxed and retaught what to do with fuel and ignition (tuning).

Not burst yours or Andy's bubble, but there were FAR many more boosters prior to him. I can name atleast a dozen. Despite what my vendor profiel says, I have been a member of this board before it changed names...I have been a member since October of 2001 or so.

Andy does get credit with being the 1st to rock the AEM 1030 on the site. GO ANDY!!!!

I would love to see that D17 brake 275wtq
