question about Exhuast
Well i did a search and didnt find out my answer. Mods if this need to be moved sorry. just wanted some replys fast.
OK, i will have a built motor by spring, most likely before then, with my turbo kit...i plan on running as much boost as the thing can handle...or close to it? 15-20 lbs i guess...
What size exhuast would you get? 2 1/2, 2.75, 3 inch? ive already started buying my parts, just waiting on this group buy for internals, need 4 more poeple!!!

Well if you put a 3 inch on now your going to lose back pressure like crazy. Once your turbo the three inch is a good thing though. I'd put on 2.5 or 2.75 for now and upgrade to three inch when your running double digit boost.

no doubt..thing is now its going to be winter, and i could care less if i dont have all the hp or loose some hp and tq or whatever. as long as i dont mess anyhting up from now until feb...i would rather do it all in one shot then do 2.5 and then 3 inch later...but idk...

I'd say 2.75. Bottom line is you are only a 1.7L engine. Yes you will burn more fuel under increased boost, but it still won't be enough to warrant that big of a pipe.

i c, but civic01vtec says 2 inch would be fine for 250hp...so i mean ill take that between 2.5 and 3 inch is ok to be turbo'd then.

2.5 is just fine!! unless you dont like torque you will have more hp with 3" i guess, but less torque. with no cat no resonator and apexi muffler i think you will have enough flow with 2.5
