goes inbetween the intake manifold and the MAP sensor. It isolates the map sensor from seeing any positive pressure inside the intake manifold for when you are running any type of forced induction.
and you know if you do some searching with the search function of the site, you could have found out this info without waiting an hour for me to post this.
