Rep Power: 0 I'm in the same situation. If I run an intake pipe from the turbo I have to change the water line. Right now I'm not running anything but I need to do something about it. It sounds awesome when there is no filter on the turbo.

Rep Power: 277 Just take into account how quickly the turbo spins (15k + rpm), how thin the fan blades are, and how much a turbo costs. Now you tell me how good that idea is looking now. Even if you were to put actual filter paper over the turbo like in that picture, the surface area would be so much less than a cone filter that it would be pretty stupid. Even those boob filters are less effective than the cone.

Rep Power: 0 I need a filter for my setup aswell. Hey mxcivic do you know how big the filter inlet is. I'm running a T3 and the opening on the compressor wheel is 2' or 2 1/4'. Do you have any idea if it would fit or can you tell me where you got it from. Like I said I really need a filter. I've been running my car without one since april when I got the kit installed . Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
