K20 Swap -- Done ** More Pix on Page 3 **

Talking K20 Swap -- Done ** More Pix on Page 3 **

Aight...*** it! I was gonna wait till I had pix...but I can't wait no more!

My K20A2 swap was finished yesterday. I have put bout 50 miles on my car since I got it back.

Here is a list of the modz done at the time of the swap:

1. K20A2
2. Exedy Hyper Single (Stage 3)
3. Quaife LSD
4. Hondata K-Pro
5. Driveshaft Shop Stage II axles
6. Koyo aluminum radiator
7. Exedy radiator breather tank (RBT)
8. Hondata intake manifold gasket (IMG)
9. KW Variant 2 coilovers
10. Custom 2.25" crush bent exhaust piping with Tanabe Racing Medallion universal muffler
11. Mugen carbon fiber ignition coil cover
12. Mugen thermostat
13. Mugen thermostat switch
14. Mugen oil filler cap
15. Custom stainless steel upper / lower radiator hoses
16. Custom carbon fiber (overlay) on miscellaneous parts.

Items of note:

1. Stock intake.
2. No P/S! I am gonna have the EPS from a Civic Si installed in bout a week.
3. No A/C. A/C is for puzzies!
4. Runnin K-Pro base cal. Got some issues with idle, knock, etc. Gonna got to Church's Dyno in bout a month and get it custom tuned and dyno'd!

I will be gettin the AEM CAI and DCRH (stainless steel) within the next month.

I realize this post is worthless without pix. However, my car is goin back to my stereo shop tomorrow to have all the grounds re-done, along wit a couple other things. Also, my car is goin into da body shop next Monday for some repairs. I'd rather wait until the car is completely done to post some pix.

Haters beware...I will neg rep ya punk azz!

if you have your car, can you do me a favor? ... right under the "K20A2" stamp on your block, can you read the 7-digit number? ... can you tell me if the first number is a 3?

Group 5 Motorsports did da swap. All I can say is I got over 50K into da car. I got receipts for everything...

Aint tryin to be the envy of any boards. My car is far from bein complete. Just tryin to show yall what our Vics can become. Of course, there are some better Vics out there. However, mine aint too shabby.

Nice. Did they replace the power steering pump with that pulley? Doesnt the K20a2 have a power steering pump and the K20a3 have EPS?

Couldn't run the P/S cuz it sits too high in the engine bay and conflicts with the hood. Before anyone says anything, you can't simply cut the underbracing of the hood on the '04-05s. That doesn't allow enough clearance. The engine sits higher in the '04-05 then the '01-03.

I am gonna have the EPS from the Si installed on my car within the next week or so.

I am pretty certain that I am the only '04-05 with a K20A2. I have heard of a couple with K20A3s.

I didn't do the swap. I plan on doin a Brembo or AEM big brake upgrade.

good, u got kpro... before you get tunned, get the AEM CAI and DC race header... p/s is for bitches... maby thats whyi have it... but you don't need A/C..

looks like a clean job... now when you get dyno'd, i'll like to check you off my list of cars to smoke....

i suggest you get some Stop techs... they are so so sexy... and if you stay 4 lug... get a type R or type S Brake master cylinder. and upgrade the rears to si discs


when people saw my car at a meet one time, some guy said" whoa, does he have 5 lug.... (they checked)... ahh... this car is wack"

they were stupid...
