What do i do about this?

Ok so last friday i had my car tuned it then broke down and i fixed it sunday. Sunday as i was driving my check engine light came on after i raced. So i was like o **** and then i felt it in third like something was holding me back so i didn't know wtf. Yesterday i finally checked it with the obd 2 scanner and it says Fuel Cell too rich that pissed me off because they tuned my car and its still too rich he said he left it rich in high end but i don't think it should be that rich should it?

What was the A/F ratio when you dynoed? Do you have a MIL? When i had the SAFC i always had the CEL. It was because i was too rich at idle and cruising speed.

O ok thats maybe why the guy told me he was making it rich but in high end but i think it may be at idle because the car sometimes is a bitch to start and at idle it like wants to bog but then catches back does that cell make it run in limp mode or anything because if it doesn't then i wont worry

Sorry man, i had to retract that prev statement. I thought you used the SAFC. I think your best bet is to get it back on the dyno and see whats happening, or have a mechanic look at it.

just because the ECU says its too rich, doesnt mean that it actually is. The Fuel system too rich code simply means that the fuel trims are outside of their compensation range (+- 20%). When it gets outside this range, the computer throws this code.

Have the car tuned for fuel trims. They will need a live-feed scanner, and will have to tune the car at all RPM ranges, under all loads. Then they will be able to have the fuel trims within their acceptable ranges.

damn, that sucks. My car runs rich at idle as well. It has the stock injectors set stock at idle as well. Even for normal stock driving conditions they are not altered. I have the 2 extra injectors that get controlled. But my car still runs very rich at idle. I can smell the gas strongly. My car still gets 300+miles per tank though, lol.

nope, it starts on the second or 3rd crank. It starts up nicer than ever for some reason? The idle does fluctuate between 600 and 1500 rpms though. But only when I come to a stop or step on the gas, idle is fine when I start it up.

try tuning with a wideband o2 sensor instead and you might have better luck

yeah, I dont think anybody in AZ that tunes on a dyno, doesnt use a wideband. I have never run across anything other than wideband in AZ. Other states must have some crappy tuners/shops, lol.

If I was you, I would drive your car nicely under very little boost, until it gets back to the 90s and lower.

I should have my car back tonight or tomorrow. Dudes a tweaker thats fixing it. I talked to him last night around 11 and he said he was gonna be working on it hardcore either last night or today. He wont leave my car sitting around his house like others he tweaks on though, lol. Hes my sons grandfather, so hell get it done quick Im hoping. He said he should have it back to me today or tomorrow. He can change a honda clutch in about 6 hours, and he only has to fix my shift fork. I musta put it on there fudged. It popped off when I touched it, so I couldnt see how it went together. I thought I put it all back right, it moved nicely, had good clearance, but I guess not enough room to travel. Im hoping my car gets back this weekend. At least for the Hooters meet with the car club.
