Sporatic Idle + Sticky throttle = ?
Hey everyone, just wanted to see if anyone can figure this out. I have a turboed 02 Civic, now even before I put in the turbo I started having this problem, where the car will rev itself up and down for a few times up until about 2500 RPM, then when I give it gas or come to a stop the idle stays sticky unless I blip the gas in which case it'll stop or start reving up and down...anyone have any idea what the problem is?

could be a number of things
throttle cable is too tight (if you tightened it)
throttle body is dirty (get some tb cleaner and clean around the valve plate and intake)
idle air control valve is broken (prolly not this unless the car is stalling out)
bad tps sensor (it might be this if you have fluctuating rpms)
try the easy stuff first, then its time for a new throttle body.
