Benifits of Porting and Polishing Head?

What are the benefits of PNP? Will this be ideal for a FI setup?

waht a port and polish does is you are makin the ports bigger so more air flow comes in and that equals more hp. yes its beneficial for FI. i got my head PnP, 4 angle vavle job, and manley vavle springs. good luck with it.

So the new head and the crower internals offered by TrueHonda are a good idea for FI, Im assuming. How much PSI do you think I can push with all this done?

porting a head has nothing to do with an overheating problem.

yes if u wanna push 15psi u would need to build the bottom end completely IMO and mind as well when u got the motor apart build up ur head and cam. thats why i got my head done for insurance purposes u can say when i go turbo. i will build the bottom end and then boost cuz i wanna boost 15-20psi daily. make sure u get the stage 2 FI crower cam if u wanna do 15+ psi. i dunno if the stage 1 will work but if u wanna have lots of boost thats what the stage 2 is for.

I drive about 40miles a day so I was just planning to run about 10-15psi on a daily bases and be able to push a little more when needed. So I guess the stage 2 products it is!

Thanks for the help guys.

I bet if they fuc*ed up, and ported a spot too much where coolant flows through causing a leak, you could overheat. but, yeah, it shouldnt cause overheating.

Anybody know how much more boost you could run after a pnp? Dont they usually run a couple hundred? Plus a new HG.

porting a head will not let you push more psi. It will however produce more HP at a lower psi than before.
