Does this spray co2 or nitrous? http://dezod.com/pd_nx_ntercooler.cfm
I really don't want a highly explosive bottle of nitrous in my car... co2 would be perfect.

nitrous is only explosive in gay movies like fast and the furious.
Nitrous is an Oxidizer, similar to Oxygen. In fact, it is much safer than oxygen. The only reason Nitrous Oxide helps you gain power in your car is because when it is put under great pressure AND heat, the nitrogen atom releases the two oxygen atoms. This extra oxygen (when injected with a proportional amount of fuel) gives a nice increase in power.
The only thing that would make nitrous dangerous in your car is if you heat the bottle up several hundred degrees with it full. The only way to make it explode is to overpressureize the bottle by heating it up (the hotter the bottle, the higher the pressure). But the bottles have a safety valve that releases before the bottle reaches a dangerous temperature. So you dont have to worry about that.
There is another way to make the bottle dangerous, and that is if you knock the valve off. Nitrous is usually only under about 900 psi of pressure. Oxygen bottles are usually at about 2500 psi. If you knock a valve off an oxygen bottle, they have the potential to go several thousand feet in the matter of seconds. The nitrous bottle is similar, but much less pressure. But it is still more than enough to completely destroy your car and those in its path if the valve were to come off. (very hard to knock a valve off. It literally takes a strong guy and a 10 lb sledge hammer)

^yea, i was wondering...i thought it helped boost HP by lowering the temp of the a/f mixture, not by burning quicker.

nice info. I never knew about the nitrogen releasing the 2 air molecules from gas/heat. Pretty sick info. Id give you rep, but I think it comes as neutral since Im not a premium member.
