K20a Head VS. K20a2 head
11.0.1 like the doc said...
So i continu to say a K20 head will be too expensive (I'm sure the shop with k20a to sale won't sale the head alone)
But K20a2 is easy to find and you can put the money you save on cam and spring...
So have a great week end guy I'm gone for The Canada GP :P

I got an entire J-spec k20A (Dc5r) front clip for 5500. then pay 700 for laybor, and 800 for mounts and some other parts. 7000 dollars to run 13.8's ?humm not bad if you ask me. Granted you can get a k24 for cheeper, but then you got to think about what your putting it in. now if you car was AWD or RWD hey ide go k24. But because you got a FWD a lot or torque really aint needed, (you'll speen the tires like he said eairlyer)plus theres a lot more out there for the k20 than the k24, at least where ive been looking
haha where did this doc stuff come from? dohc doc. haha that sounds funny.
street radials? ... I may be in the market for some Hoosiers down the road ... do they have a good "street" one?
transformed: please stop broadcasting that you have a k20a. that's all your post about

its a k-series question, just throwing a little opinion out there. and that was the first one about the k20 in my car the others had been about the topic. But i mean yeah torque is fun, i know about toruqe, us it all the time to spin my tires at a high rate a giddy up on a 30 mph turn. But if you want to actually put that to the ground? I dont know. Mr. Honda lover should know a lot about it with what her signature says.. So lets ask "Hey Hondalover, how do you get it all to the ground?"
The K20A is a better engine then the K20a2? Which on is better for fun and racing a little? Should i build my own engine with high performance everything except for block?

If you plan to port n polish you should go with the K20A2 since you could source one cheaper than a K20A. Aside from the obvious that everyone has mentioned, I heard the K20A has a seat in the cylinder head the K20A2 doesn't, which basically falls into port n polish. What the hell the type r seat in the cylinder head is, I have no idea, just read it on a magazine.
