I bought my profec-b for a hundred used from my friend down the street. It works awesome. He boosted 27psi with it on his civic. and it still works bomb. lo and hi work perfect as well as smooth/sharp. He blew up his motor though, so I picked it up off him.

isnt the profec-b manual? Where you have to adjust ***** and jumpers?? the only thing that lights up is on, hi boost or lo boost, and its just a little dot that indicates which **** is set.
It should be fine, ask other people i guess.

Dude - just buy my Hallman - sweet deal on a killer manual boost controller. It held ROCK SOLID all the time! I only had a boost spike 1 time, only because I fvcked around with the wastegate - but that was my fault.

The hallman works GREAT if you set it up properly (and its not damaged!)....Go to Honda-Tech - everyone there LOVES them - they hold boost better than electronic boost controllers....

It's actually the most expensive greddy ebc you can buy, it's their newest one.
My greddy profec b-spec II is for sale though =)

the old school greddy profec-b is pretty good. there should be some used ones on ebay, or around the net. just look for one. I am extremely happy with mine, it lets you adjust for boost spike, and rough shifting. makes it very smooth, with no boost spike.
