Question about Sf BOV

Ok for people who have the sf kit. With the bov does it need to be welded on? I was told that i have boost leak from the bov since its not welded on. I have never heard of anyone doing this. Also where can i hook up the vaccuum line to the bov to? thanks for the help.

There should be a flange welded on the charge pipe where the bov goes. There is a piece of rubber hose in that flange and you need to screw in a type of sheet metal screw to hold in the bov. Mine has been this way for over 1 yr with no problems.

You need to hook the vaccum hose into where your other vaccum hoses go. Behind the IM there is a vaccum hose that goes to your map sensor. You need to cut it and install a plastic tee fitting into it. From here u can hook up your bov, boost gauge and SF fuel system if that is what you are using.
