My clutch or transmission is going, not sure which one, probably the clutch though. I need to know which one to replace.

Well, the other day I was driving, and as I went to shift, I pressed the clutch, took the car out of gear, put it in gear, and let off the clutch. The only prob is the clutch didnt come back out when I let off of it, so I couldnt shift. I pulled over, and pulled it out with my hand, and it drove fine. It felt fine, but I was still worried. Well a week or so goes by, and this morning I boosted about 3 or 4 psi to get in front of traffic (and play with a cocky mustang driver in a POS, lol). Well, I only boosted one time for like 2 or 3 seconds on the way to work. But now my clutch has no pressure on it until its pressed in almost the whole way. It feels very soft, and feels like it may get stuck down again while Im driving.

Would this be my transmission or clutch?? Any help would be awesome. Im ordering a new clutch monday. Exedy Organic.

Could it be the master or slave cylinder?? I had the slave replaced about 30,000 miles ago, but not the master.

thanks for all the help. Im gonna get my master cylinder replaced for free today . Well, hopefully today, Im waiting on a call. I love free car parts/labor.
