Battery Problem Now *FIXED* Read 1st Thread
Ok so now my battery wont stay charged, i dont know what its problem is, i jump start it.. when the cars started, its at 11.3 volts.. and then slowly.. 11.2...11.1.....11.0... all the way to 8.4.. and nothings keeping it charged
do you think its because the turbo manifold is getting REALLY hot? and it messed up the alternator? why wont the freekin battery stay chargeed
FIXED!!
ok so this was the problem, the dumbass that was installing thw positive wire for the injectors connected it to the engines fuse box, there are 2 screws there, the screw on the right is the one thats connected to the alternator. When he was screwing that back in, he put it in at an angle and it was barily missing the connection, and wouldnt sned power to the battery, he tied it down really tight and we couldnt fix it, the threads holding the screw was messed up, so Custom Work time. We got one of those metal pieces u connect to wire for speekers, the U Shaped ones, cus of the end so we just had the U, stuck them between the spacer and the screw, and that filled the gap.. damn i made such a big deal for sumthin sooo smalll... Go ahead and flame at my stupidity

lmfao this JUST happened to me like 2 days ago. I got the alt checked and it was running bad so iw as liek fack and bought a new alt installed it, same prob. so then i was like hmmm and comes to be that when we were splciing the o2 wires for the a/f gauge, it touched the grounding wire and shorted out like half of my stuff, alt fuse shorted, and it threw like 10 CEL's. So yeah after liek 700 dollars of repairs my car is running again... bwhaha sorry just thought I'd share

Wel, after me blowing 300 I THINK it was just the alternator... but who knows... I had to take my car to Honda because it was so messed up NO ONE around me could figure out what the heck it was. It turned out that one of the o2 sensor wires touched the grounding wire inbetween electrical tape and shorted out the o2 sensor harness, which inturn shorted out part of the battery wriring (don't ask) which inturn blew the alternator fuse, and to make a lonog story short I had to have alot of fuses and wires replaced. That's the LAST time I let one of my friend wire stuff while I'm trying to paint lol.

KalliGarri - Did you ever call TSI back? If so, what did they say? If they say its because its used, tell them mine is doing the same. I got mine brand new shipped from them a month and a half ago.
