PCV fix?
PCV fix?
Hey so how have all the boosted members adressed the pcv system? and no I don't want to hear about just slapping on the little breather filter
. I know some HT members just disconnect the pcv and let the hose hang to the ground and plug the IM port. But most use the oil catch can, but you still need a good vac source to really make it work. anyone on here using one of these methods?

Use your exhaust as a source of vacuum. Put a one way valve that will keep exhaust from coming up to the catch can, plumb everything, and install the exhaust fitting at a 45 degree angle, pointing towards the back of the car. You'll get enough vacuum there to suck your catch can out. Plumb the valve cover breather and the PCV (take the PCV valve out if you want, won't really matter) to the catch can, empty it when it's full, and you're good to go.
This way you're not using your pre turbo piping for the vacuum, which if you do means that you will be sucking some oil in through your turbo, leading to detonation in the cylinders.
I've done this on my car and 15 Porsche 951s, and they all worked great.
