Glad to hear the good news since I am trying to get my swap of the ground. I dont think I can afford the a2 but I have heard good things about the a3 and I think I can get a decent price on one.

I took it out yesterday after i put on the exhaust (used rsx exhaust for now) and i could feel it going now. However, my coolant guage is not working so i have to hook it up. Until then i wont want to push it much.

If anyone of you guys and gals knows of one who needs a complete d17 lx (40K) auto drivetrain, please let me know. I will separate the axles, and other things that dont get included wiht an engine if anyone needs them separately.

The drivers side bracket didnt line up with the holes. The hardware kits (nuts bolts and washers) were not right. Had to make a trip to the hardware store.

Simple, just get the manual brake pedal. I just cut it for now.

I, however did the wiring myself, it runs, but theres a glitch somewhere. I thought it was my open header at first that was causign the harsh ride, but theres a few things i have to do to get it running optimally.
I had a friend use an ecu scanner and a few errors came up. Ect sensor, alt load, intake air temp and Idm. This is causing me to idel at 1500 and revving is kinda choppy.
If anyone has input on these issues, let me know.

Nice Dave.... i'm happy you seen to be at the same point of me now. Together we finally finish the wiring.
Same problems for me about the engine mount.... the hole wasn't at the good place.
I'll post some pic of my swap when I'll have time.
My swap status... Engine running pretty well but still have to remake the clutch line.... May be have a problems there... I cannot bleed the systems.
In april I'll publish here the Wiring convertion DIY for EM2 coupe, this is not so difficult if you have the both wiring diagrams...
If have the diagrams if someone need it...

Congrats on your swap and thanks for keeping us informed. Will you be able to list how much the whole swap cost? That would be good to know. I'm planning to swap the type-s engine into my wife's auto rsx (I know, I know.. but she can't drive stick) which is getting paid off in 6 months. And its desert silver.. man thats a sexy color!
