-shaved underside of hood for p.s.
WELL GUYS, WE TRIED STARTING IT TODAY AND IT CRANKED BUT DIDNT START.
I think its the immobilizer. BUt i was under the impression that it would drive in limp mode for like 25 miles or something. Going to take it to the dealer to have it reflashed and hopefully itll work.
I checked spark and were not getting any spark. I hooked up the fuel pump direct to power in hope bypass the immobilizer but still didnt turn over.
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

I wound up eventually calling Hasport and having them make a harness for me, the reason you're getting the no start is there is a relay that needs to be put somewhere in the harness, i saw it there, but i have no idea where it goes. I'd suguest emailing hasport and seeing if they will be nice to you and help you out. But sence they make money doin it i doubt they will. I know a few other members here have done the wiring themselves maybe they'll be able to chime in.
btw props for doin the auto to manual swap, and props for doin the swap like a real man, not letting a shop do it

Thanks for the advice Hawk. You are the pioneer of this swap. My first thoughts of ever doing the swap evolved from your swap. I knew the wiring was going to be the biggest challenge.
I have my own little stack of wiring diagrams and pinouts that i have been collecting to try to solve the wiring issue. Hopefully after the flash the thing starts.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE 02 SENSOR WIRING IS?
I am using hondatas K20 tech sheet to wire upthe 02 sensor but the wiring ont eh sheet doesnt match the wiring on the 02 sensor. If i can remember i think it was 2 black and a green and a red. I tested the 02 sensor with a meter and 2 pins were 6 ohms and the other 2 were blank. Which is the 02 + and which is the 02 - ??? Im not wiring the 02 heater coil for now. I just want to get this beast running. Hawk, i believe teh relay was for the 02 sensor heater coil (as shown onthe hondata sheet)
OK THE MOMENT OF TRUTH WILL COME TOMMOROW MORNING.
Tomorrow im towing the car to the acura dealership and getting the immobilizer reflashed.
Hopefully this thing will start up. Otherwise its back to the wiring.
We touched everything up today and cleaned the garage.
I will get pics as soon as my car is drivable. I dont have much time throught the week since i work fulltime and then go to the garage to work on teh car right after.

Never mind the 02 sensor stuff. I msut have overlooked the schematic that i have. The wire colors are:
heater element in 02 sensor (HAWK: im pretty sure this is what hasport is wiring the relay for):
black --> POWER (C101 PIN 15 or PIN A22 (WHITE))
black --> GROUND (PIN A1)
02 sensor
white--> a6 red +
green--> a16 red/yell -

I DIDNT REALY PAY ATTENTION TO THE D BLINKING BUT FOR US AUTO'S YOU HAVE TO ADRESS A WIRING ISSUE FOR THIS. I HAVE AND IT WORKED. YOULL FIND IF YOU DONT, YOUR KEY WILL BE STUCK IN THE IGNITION BECAUSE THE CAR THINKS YOUR IN R,N,OR D. ITS A SIMPLE FIX.

WE USED A CHERRY PICKER FOR THE MOTOR SWAP (FROM THE TOP).
BASICALLY YOU WANT TO LEAVE ANYTHING THAT WILL STICK OUT AND GET CAUGHT UNTIL AFTER YOU DROP THE MOTOR IN. THEN PUT THEM BACK ON. I REFER TO THE FRONT AND REAR MOUNTS.
ADVICE: THE MOTOR GOES IN FOR SURE, JUST BE PATIENT.

OK GUYS THE MOMENT OF TRUTH WAS THIS MORNING.
I towed my ride to honda to get the immobilizer reflashed and after they did that the first crank, it only cranked
Then they cranked again and
it caught some fuel and spark.
THEN A THIRD TIME, AND THE BEAST CAME OUT OF HIBERNATION.
Im running a dcrh and open exhast so its running really loud. But it seems as though the swap has been a success. I have to tweek some things out, but im really happy.
Im going to work on geting the exhaust done because its LOUD and the coolant temp and speedo guages were not hooked up. The ac ill leave to later when everything is in shape.
Im at work now but couldnt resist voicing the success.
Pics coming soon.

Keep the info comming!
There hasn't been many AUTOMATIC to MANUAL K20 swappers on here. Most of them are manual to manual swaps.
