Dammit - I think all of this turbo fun is destroying my transmission...
I took mine out through the bottom after removing the subframe. I used regular every day jackstands. I did everthing myself except put the tranny back up. Its not too bad if you have a book. Make sure to align the subframe back to the same paint marks on the bolt heads if you can. I marked everything with a paint marker.

ever since i 1st own my 7th gen, it was like the best thing in the world
back in 03. I remember it was all about looks back then.. body kit here, paint there, wing here, graphic there, stickers, tv's, rims, lights, music, ETC.
It was like the best thing in the world. but the car was really slow.
So then, here i go with the TURBO Kit. Its been about 8 months now with it,
and it all has been a rollercoaster ride.. I've had as many HIGH times as dOWN TIMES.
Good- one of the only 7th gens in tampa boosted,BOV,Spool,Torque, horsepower, the looks,SHOW, speed. walking other cars. etc.
Bad-money,<tons of it.time consuming, uprgrades, misfires, tunning,FUEL,headache s,+swearing+,breaking parts and replacing em'. and now Currently, that bluesh smoke i've been telling you guyz about
I think outta of everyone here, i've probably ended up spending more money on my TURBO then others. And we all do have differentials in parts, but at the end a lot of spent about the same. ME in the other hand.. I have had a lot, and i mean alot of TRIAL and ERROR. <<< Its for some reason the luck i've had on 7th gen. I luv the hell outta of my car. but sometimes when i c it. It kinda makes me sick looking at it, all the **** it has given me and money it has taken away from me, that it's kinda like a baby, Once they get older you need to care for them more, and feed them more. wich = $$$$$/time.
I'am in the same boat OPTO is, in selling my turbo kit as well..
I guess it just took me so much to get up on the top of the Mountain, that I cant handle it anymore...
Lucky you guyz, that have not spent that much, and you cars are running great. < but i think lots of it has to deal with, this website.. I've seen a lot of ppl that have done a **** load of research and then posted it up,(such as OPTO) and have led the new ppl into gettin the right stuff, that way they dont have to see and check if things work out..
Thats what happend to me about a year ago, before i bought my TURBO,
I was thinking, it wasnt going to be ^that difficult^. I used to say, it should'nt be any more difficult then an older civic... BUT I WAS WRONG.. It took so much TRIAL AND ERROR< that i was about to trow the car over a cliff and call my insurance company and tell them that i got in a wreck, and that i needed a new car. lol
any how, I think i've typed enough..
Sniff sniff!.....
haha
