Turbo & Stock Suspension.

Just wondering if there is anyone running a turbo with stock suspension, and if so, does the car tilt back & forth much during acceleration & braking.

I think I have to take of my Hayame's (roads are too bumpy here) & Install the turbo. I was just concerned about handling too. I have an RSX Rear Swaybar already.

Stock spring rate are too limp for traction purposes. Get stiffer spring rate springs, coilovers and/or shocks.

I would recommend the Eibach prokit. I've had it on my car for 3 years and the ride quality is excellent.

I have already Hayame's on my car. The ride is a bit stiff, but there are many bad roads here & I have some bottoming out issues that are really pissing me off. Specially if I have people in the car, more noticable. CD Player skips over almost every big crack or bump!

Will other shocks/springs combo give a better ride in these circumstances?

I have just tein S tech springs for suspension with my turbo......virtually little to no body lean under moderate acceleration.

what about heavy acceleration? hehe probably sort of bouncy? Maybe not. I like my tokicos, they are stiff as hell, and cheap. They suck in really bad parts of town with crappy roads.

you already posted this exact thread. Go ***** your own thread.

BTW, just go to a shop, and have somebody mandrel bend/weld it on, its pretty simple, call every shop until you find "MANDREL" bent piping.

You just need a external dump pipe? I'd just take it to a muffler shop and have them fab u up one. Btw, i'd run an open dump.

wow, that was easilly solved

How does feel on bad/bumpy/potholey roads with the Tein SS Springs & Stock shocks?

I really can't remember the stock ride much, but I am expecting it was much cushier than my current one with these Hayame's, but my handling is great on smooth roads now, how bad was the handling on the stock setup?

What I really need is a setup from an offroading WRX for this town!

no no no.........tein ss are full coilovers, not springs. They handle smooth, you can adjust the rebound of the shock. The springs are stiffer than stock, as is any aftermarket spring. IMO, they are smooth as hell, i love them.

When you were boosted on stock suspension, did you experience much wheel hop when lauchning? Can that be fixed with engine bushings, or is different suspension the only way to prevent that?

And how much for the Tein SS Coilovers? Are they much better than the Hayame's I am using now, these bumpy roads are giving me hell.
