Just bought HP performance kit!!!!
VinylPlaya04 sold me the brand new HP performance kit he had last week and im anxiously awaiting it. All the kit is missing is the fuel set up but i plan just to install it without it and run with low psi until i have enough money to buy the setup. Anyways, me and a few buddies will be doing the install as soon as it comes in so i was wondering if the few of u with this kit can PM with their emails or cell numbers incase i run into problems. Heres the thread that provides pics: http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=194726 and heres a complete list of what the kit comes with minus the fuel ****: http://www.turbochargedpower.com/Turbo%20Kits.htm

can't wait to read your next thread on how you blew your motor
dude, i said LOW PSI as in 2-4 pds man ....
i have this to depend on ---->
TURBO LIMIT: Now this is what most people argue about. Some might even have different opinions from this post. We tested 3 different 7th gens. at our shop and the result was 3 to 4 psi. Some might be or have run more than this, but remember we are maxing out the injectors and are staying at a resonable stoich (((air/fuel ratio))). Otherwise like said with the nitrous, detonation and fuel shortage are likely therfore breaking stuff.
That was from the Turbo FAQ on the fuel system section

you can say bye bye. do it right the first time or honestly dont do it at all since its going to cost you more in about o 2 weeks of you running that. one boost spike and its tost one little problem and its tost
heh actually I sold my setup almost a year ago ;P
lessons I learned:
- turbos are expensive with maintenance
- don't take any shortcuts when building a kit
- connect wastegate vacuum hoses after re-doing your headgasket

- DIY headgaskets are a good thing to know
- sf's service is gay, but their kit is powerful

most turbo kits don't let you just run a low psi like 1-2 ...
you'll hardly feel any gain with 1-2 psi ... and you're definitely NOT gonna hear a bov ;P ... even at 4-5 psi, it's kinda hard to hear the bov
