If you are going to get pistons, you might as well get rods and sleeves as well. Seem kinda pointless to pay a good amount of money to have the engine all taken apart and not do it all at once to save on additional costs later on.

crower already has a set of rods that can be purchased. this is what I heard back from race enginering.
The pistons are available in a 9:1 compression ratio. designed for high boost turbo applications. We have the rods in Crower billet. The kit with Pistons, pins, locks, rings and rods will run $1,168.00. The Compression height (wrist pin location) is different on the two pistons so it would not work.

The pistons are our Xtreme Race brand, machined to our specification by Wiseco. The standard bore application shou fit ok providing there is not any wear in the cylinder bore. Sorry no springs or retainers.

no,just take off the head and oil pan.you cannot use the wiseco pistons on the stock rods so you'll need crower rods or other aftermarket rods..also with the crower rods you need to grind down some metal on the bottom of the cylinder wall.
and for the piston i think he was talking about the wrist pin location being offset compared to the stock ones.
