well i have a k20a3 ecu here and i didnt want to buy a k20a2 ecu.. so me and a local shop and with his hookups through hondata he found out and has alreadey sent my ecu for a hondata reflash that.......(drumroll).. a k20a3 ecu can be converted to a k20a2 ecu.... dont know who this would help out much besides me but if you want to be on the cheap side and did a k20a3 swap and want to upgrade there motor to a type s can eventually upgrade to a type s head without changing the ecu.. all you gotta do is have them relash it to a k20a2 ecu... but here is the downside... you wont have the reverse lock like all 5 speeds have now.. if you dont know what that is it is the lock the prevents you from putting your car in reverse while moving forward.... only reason being that is because when they reflash your ecu they have to use the reverse and change that into the 6th gear which is typically the case with the type s since it is 6speeds. of course you do still have reverse but it wont have the lock anymore... so for anyone this is FYI..

didn't you buy a k20a? ... why aren't you using the k20a ecu?
