Question Installing a Turbo Kit

I have a stupid question. I plan on putting a turbo kit in my car a while down the road. I was wondering if it is better to install i/h/e before the turbo kit or is it better to wait until the kit is on?

turbo kit will replace your i/h ... but yes, it's good to have an exhaust when you have the turbo

So I could get a catback exhaust and that should be the only thing that I do until I boost? Would the stock civic handle the turbo kit well? or should I do anything else in the mean time to prep for it?

Depends how much you boost. Stock internals can handle up to about 8 psi (more with al. injection) so if you want to go higher than that you better build up your engine.

I have a 2002 Civic EX 2dr Coupe...all engine stuff is completely stock
I dont think that I wanna go any higher than 8psi. Ultimately I'd love to get my car around 200whp

^^Are you standard or auto? Dezod produces a quality kit, or you can also go custom

You should just do a swap so that you're putting your money into something thats worthwhile.

and if I ever wanna sell the car in the future, most people who dont know a lot about cars would be turned off if you swapped the engine. Plus I only have 42k miles on the engine, so its still good for a long time. Third I'm a senior in high school going to college next year so it would take a long long time for me to save up for an engine swap.

I have a 91 civic w/ a b16 swap. the previous owner said that after the swap there was no room for the a/c compressor. Is this true or is there an alternate way to mount the a/c compressor?

do not swap, because you will end up spending more money than the car is worth
