Automatic Engines and Options

Hello everyone this is my first post here so please take it easy on me. I currently own a 2004 Civic EX Coupe Automatic in the USA. I'm not thrilled about the power in the coupe nor is my wife. This is my wifes car and she is just looking for more power without having adding exhaust, intakes and all that jazz just stay with the standard car. We are looking for an engine we could just drop in for more power. The key is we need to stay automatic. Here are the 3 questions...

1. What are all the engine options out there that would be an somewhat easy swap to stay automatic? This could include what is available today or in the near future. I prefer to have non turbo and would like an engine that lasts.

2. What is the typical cost for a place to do a full engine swap?

3. I'm in Minnesota does anyone know somewhere here that does it or perhaps as nearby I would drive to Illinois ect...?

Thanks,

^^I would suggest a swap into the base model rsx... but that's not that much faster

Base model rsx auto. Its faster for sure, but maybe not worth it for all the money you have to spend.

Yeah I see the sticky but it doesn't mention automatics ect...

What else is there besides the RSX 160HP Automatic?

Is there more automatic options in the near future?

Thanks,

Thank You all so much for the response I will wait for my mileage to get up there and then look for the hasport mount for the K24 and look at swapping.

As for the questions of a fair price for install? and anywhere in the midwest "I prefer Minnesota area" shops that do the swaps?
