what do you guys use for fuel management and tuning?
as topic states... i have no idea what to use.. FMU isn't as safe as i want... i've heard bout e-manage but they're kinda new and not many people know how to use/install them.... if you boost'd guys could give me a list what you've used or recommend on your 7thgens that would be GREAT!!
thanks in advance!

best option is e-manage
other options are a vafc/safc.......which have proven to advance ignition timing.
I've been running as many others a vortech fmu (10:1) for about 9 months. I run 9psi daily and i am one of the rare ppl on this site that have not blown a HG. I've hit 13psi b4 and i am still going strong, knock on wood.

make sure you get the optional pressure sensor with the harness, itll come in handy for tunning.. you shoud be ood with all that, but you might wanna invest in the return fuel kit so that you dont blow something up =)
injectors
emanage with all harnesses
fuel pump
fuel rail
fuel pressure regulator
fuel pressure gauge
hoses to run everything
i think thats all u need. feel free to add to the list people.

i use my TSI injector block controller and tune with a narrowband a/f gauge (
I KNOW I KNOW!)
Suprisingly though, it's easy to tune. Only downside is, when the temp drops anymore then +/- 5 degrees, you have to increase or decrease the fuel gain
So living in NC, where the weather in determined by a toss of a dart at a board, i have to slightly tune every other day or so. Been running like a champ with no problems or thrown codes!

that is overkill if you are on a budget. You can successfully run the emange and injectors with our returnless fuel set-up. There is a member here that has 440's with emanage and no return.
also.......no aftermarket fuel rail fits our car.
