Talking Getting Closer to Turbo... :D

Hey guys, been visiting this site weekly for a while, but its soon getting to the point that i should be asking for some opinions. 2001 Ex 5spd, local shop in town said that i should get the t3/t4 turbo for the D16 because its selling for $950. http://www.ssautochrome.com/level.itml/icOid/1291 He said that i can either find a turbo manifold or he would modify the one that came with the kit.

The Questions i have are:

-Where would i find an decent aftermarket turbo manifold?
-What would i need for fuel system upgrades to run 5-10 psi? (rsx-s injectors?)
-What would be my best bet, between a VAFC vs an Emanage, and what brand and eaisest for tuning.

Thanks guys
Ryan

Anything can fit for everything. Depends on $.
Do you have enough $ to make it fit?

actually you are not even close to getting turboed if you are asking us all these questions. Research thats what i did, and i can say i am close to a turbo, because i have everything in my garage, however we are expieriencing some cold *** weather now so i'm not even starting on it now. I already have some parts on now, but the 20 degrees fahrenheit weather is f'd up. the wrenches are so cold that you get a frostbite on your palms. Anyways reasearch, ALOT. And there's ALOT on this site that you can research.

Thanks for the help, i looked them over and i think that if i cant go with a custom manifold, i may give the maxrev a shot. I am hoping to get the kit in at low boost in the spring, until i work on my fuel system. My buddys uncle is a t&d maker, and he figures that the can hook me the downpiping, tap my oil pan and thinks he can modify the manifold for cheap $$$. (guy does some pretty nuts work with turbo sr-20's)

Anyway, will i need an exhaust right when the turbo is installed (low boost 3-5 lbs) I dont know if it would even flow enough air to make a difference?

Been researching for almost the past 8 months...just asking for opinions of the board as well as the local tuning shops.

To build a turbo system properly with new parts you prolly looking at closer to $2500 UP . I can easily see myself spending close to $4000 or better by the time im done
