hmm from what I see, nitrous will take you faster lol... I guess its because only 6.5 psi. I'm running about 80 shots and I have to shift fast because it goes so quickly. Maybe I should do a vid. Nice civic though.

with an 80 shot ur running about 15 whp more than me, and maybe 20+ wtq more. To go faster, all i have to do is crank up the boost.....if you wanna go faster, you gotta blow urself up.

i have a TINY Sony T1 Cybershot digi cam. I steered (left hand) with my pinky, ring, and middle fingers wrapped around the steering wheel and the T1 between my pointer and thumb. If you notice, when the vid first starts, i'm turning onto the road, so the camera moves to the right, cuz i'm holding it with the same hand i'm driving with.

damn i cant do that, i have to brace my elbow like right by my hip bone and hold the bottom of the steering wheel, so i can have the other hand free to shift.....i guess ill have to find a better way

Be careful what you say...I'd knock on wood if I were you, because as soon as you DO decide to turn up the boost, just to get to where hes at with his 80 shot, you might be the one breaking something.

What are you gonna say to yourself $4k from now when you're just about at max power on the d17 and you're still getting beat by modded mustangs, srt4's, and whatever else out there that has a decent set of *****? Retired - SoCal FI Mod

heres is one of a JRSC svt focus. Its not mine but its someone's to compare to...I am not trying to flame anyone or still a thread just doing a comparison.
All he has done to it is a JRSC with stock boost at 6.5lbs
Note: He was shifting early because it was brand new
But he still took it up to 135mph

its called lack of hp and torque...a new exhaust isnt going to help that much.

haha, no way a 50 shot will give you over 100ft/lbs or tq.......neither will it give 70whp........with all of the bolt ons.

/\/\if i wanted a fast *** car.....i'd build a fast *** car. This is my daily commuter. I just gave it enough power to be fun to drive. Nothing more. I'm building the internals to increase realiability and run a dual stage boost controler w/ high boost being about 12-14lbs.

Having owned 3 nitroused vehicles and one big mother of a turbo car... I will say this.
A bolt on turbo kit Honda making 180 peak whp doesn't stand a chance against a similar Honda making the same or even less peak horsepower on the bottle. Hose makes torque, and it makes it as well as all it's horsepower as soon as you hit it, not when it spools or reaches it's efficiency range, it makes all it's power RIGHT NOW.
My bottled Accord ran 14.80s 2 weeks after I bought it, all stock, with factory tire. Most bolt on turbo Accords at 6-7psi run anywhere from a 15.0 to a 15.7.
But I will say this... a quick build later and a lot of tuning, my turbo F-series would have walked any of my stock bottomed nitrous vehicles
