K20 + Comptech SC....Think there'd be enough room?
Thinking of doing a K20 swap sometime and tossing in a comptech SC....
Anyone that has a K20 know how much room is available in the front between the radiator / front support and the intake manifold?
Turbo is nice, but I'd love to have that nice smooth (and instant) power band versus the lag.....Well, that and I really don't want to deal with exhaust routing issues (faqing dumptubes, etc).....

Yeah I was thinking about the type-s to a while ago, except by the time I got enough money my ex auto would have depreciated to around 10 grand, and to buy a nce type s with lower than 30 thou on it would be another 10 grand, and in this stage of my life, I'm not gonna drop that lol.. It makes me feel better that I'll spend that same amount over a longer period of time on my pos civic lol.. but then opto, getting your *** whopped by a 7thgen with a k20 is alot more embarrssing than a type-s lol no one will know it's comming.

i haven't seen pics of the comptech SC, but the JRSC for the RSX won't fit. SI might with hood modification, i'm told. my engine bay has not PS yet in this pic, and you'd have to use SI electric power steering to fit an SC, i'm reasonably sure. if you want PS. there ain't much room in there, look at the intake manifold in an RSX-S bay and they have significantly more space than us.

Had a email conversation with Brian G from hasport, as i expected the JRSC for the RSX will not work do to a number of fitment reasons, but there is a possibility (like doubledeuce2k2 said) that the SI supercharger.
I'd love to have a Supercharger, if the car needs anything its more torque/power down low, but from a money standpoint its just way to much work.
