t25 vs t3/t4 race
a friend of mine has a t3/t4 garrett turbo in his 99 accord 4 cylinder. he runs at about 5 psi
when i get my turbo kit, im going to have a t25 turbo, itll spool ALOT faster then his, and im also going to be running at about 7 psi maybe 8
what do u think is going to happen?
Also when we do race, ill have a video to show yall if i got raped once again or if i win

does the accord have internal work done or build-up? if so, i would bet on the accord.
if not, you would take him. make sure its from dead stop too cause you have advantage from that lol. remember: keep it safe on closed road or private road

I'm getting the SF kit, and my motor is at the machine shop being built as we speak, i'll be running 8 psi(alcohol injection too), and using a NX 35shot to spool the bigger turbo with a Pressure sensetive shut off switch! and judgeing by your name i take it you also from cali! hopefully so cal, if so I'll have to race you as soon as i get back from this **** hole called Iraq!

errr
somewhat true
the weight factor is going to be the deciding factor in most races, as a t25 at 8 psi will put out what a t3/t4 does at a lower psi...
BTW: I vote t25...quick spool+ light car is going to take the cake I think....

Oh and for my 2 cents, I vote t25 for the 1/4 mile since both of you wouldent max out, but an open highway hes going to stomp you, your gonna stop making power at about 6500 hes gonna keep making it lol.. just dont race to far and you can win all you want

That is incorrect. At a certain pressure, the motor will only flow a certain amount of air. Does not depend on the turbo, however, the size will have an affect on horsepower due to the efficiency differences.

T25!!! I walked on a cavalier with a T3/T4 and i'm pretty sure the cavi and accord have the same engine size and weight. My race was from 30-80mph w/ me a car ahead within seconds!

All you have to to is brake boost, or use a 2 step rev limiter at the line, and you can spool the big turbo before the race even begins. Then Mr. "Turbo Smaller Than A Frog's Nut" won't have a chance.
Besides, the accord weighs more and you'll be pushing more PSI. You should get it easily.
