GReddy Type RS BOV
GReddy Type RS BOV
This item is so very hot. I highly recommend it to anybody boosted. The sound it makes is incredible. I'll be making a boost video very soon (thanks to the new Sony digital video cam). So you'll all be able to hear it.

GReddy raises the standard again with
their new Type-RS Blow Off Valve.
Created to be the most reliable blow off valve system available, the Type-RS’s state-of-the art design allows for greater performance in a compact size. Improved response and increased pressure are achieved through carefully selected spring rates and a large 40mm valve. The real unique feature of the Type-RS blow off valve is the CNC machined 8 discharge ports that draw
in the surrounding air to amplify the blow-off sound. The Type-RS is compatible with the standard GReddy Blow-off Valve flanges.
Key Features:
• The Type-RS features high capacity performance, and a compact frame that set new standards for blow off valves.
• The Type-RS features an 8 discharge ports that draw in surrounding air and release a unique discharge sound.
• The Type-RS features a 40mm, hard-anodized valve for increased airflow.
• High-quality diaphragm and short stroke significantly increase response.
• The Type-RS’s dual spring system promoted response and allows for high boost pressures.
• The Type-RS features optional discharge adapters for rerouting discharged air.
• Built for easy adaptability the Type-RS uses the same two-bolt flanges as the Type S and Type R valves.

Thanks Bro!
Just looking out for you guys - I hate seeing boosted members get the bone when it comes to poor turbo information...so I try to get good info out there for ya all!
BTW: Gotti has your surge gone away??? and did you check the valve with a vacuum pump before installation? I know that there is a good amount (myself included) who had Greddy Type S valves that leaked outa the box...all we had to do was remove the bigger spring, teflon tape teh fittings, and adjust the valve to about 1/4 inch above the lock nut..
