Re: Motor Mounts
Re: Motor Mounts
Hey i was wondering if anyone here has tried to do the k20a2 swap and used the mounts from the d17 i assume that it could be done but i would also assume that the mounts would crack... Also has anyone heard of a k24 in a civic ??? i know that they are in the tsx crv and accord ? i think you would be able to get one cheaper than a k20...my only question is would they fit (new ls/vtec swap k24 bottom wit k20 head
) i figure im gonna have to drop anywhere between 4-7 for install motor ecu tranny, and other random things need to complete the swap correctly ... anyways anyone know what the civic runs wit k20a2 i figure its got to be in the 13s 2500 (plus whatever the k20 adds to wait) wit 200 crank ponies has got to move... anyways any advice is appriciated...

If there are proper motor mounts available why even bother? Don't cheap out on something like motor mounts man. Bad things can happen if they break....
quater mile times range in the 14s, or 15s if you suck.
