Merry christmas to me too.......turbo owns me big
today i went to the shop to check up on the civic. get there, shes sitting outside. so im thinkin outside=done. go in sure nuff shes done and ready to go home. now the bad part, cant even boost!!! why. welcome to the world of cylinder walk. them SOBs are just sloshing around in there, pressure is getting past the headgasket and into the coolant track, pushing it out the overflow and making the lil bitch over heat. now if u drive and never hard, like a damn grandma, shes fine. so basically i have a dead duck in the lot. turbo but no boost. so for 3800 bucks she can be fixed and out the door AGAAAAIN. sleeves, rebuild, all new bearings and gaskets, head studs, catch can, and 18psi, and a few dyno runs. now i just have to find the loot. just have to do it and not let the rents know about it, they will be mad if i spend on car and not pay tuition. sooooo..........i get her back, only to drive under 4k rpms all the time.
so who here has a spare block to sell, in great condidtion!!

no one screwed up, i beat the **** out of the car one night on the highway, it started over heating all the time, i took it in, he found a leak, fixed some suspension bearings, and let it idle and it didnt overheat, then he said that if u beat on it, it will still over heat, i should have just sleeved it the first time

alright for all those who think they know so much, none of this is the shops fault on the over heating issue, its mine, so stop with the shop this and the shop that. ive been boosting high than most every one on here for two years, time and pressure will get to u on a stock block. im not putting in a stock engine, that defeats the whole freaking purpose, im not selling the kit, nor the car. and it did have cylinder walk when i went in! thanks for knowing nothing
engine
bc if you said is your engine n it costs 3800 to fix your engine... if its your turbo i read it wrong... but buy the engine n put your turbo kit back on that engine make sense now
