I dont see this answered anywhere. I assume that you could not with a 6 speed trans, but if you have a K swap with a 5 speed manual, will our stick shift assy work?

Yes, you can, but you will need to grind a little off the limit stops on the shifter. Never done it so couldn't tell ya how much.

Is that for the 5 speed or the 6 speed?

My understanding is that the rsx and 7th gen short shifters from revo are the same parts. In that case, it will work. You have to realize that your shifter doesn't control the gearing, the cables do, it's not the position of the shifter but the assembly itself that has no set positions. BTW, what tranny are you using?

A 5 speed RSX tranny should work with the stock shifter assembly. The 6 speed will require a little "adjustment."

I have a 5 speed out of an SI. I have my 7G 5 speed shifter assy sitting on a shelf since I did the B Swap on my 7G and I am going to do a K Swap into a different car and wondered if my old 7G shifter could be used or if I needed to get an RSX/SI unit.

Thanks

I agree ... I don't see why not since the Revo one is the same for the 5 and 6 spd, isn't it?
