Question for experienced boosted members: Weird problem at 6 pounds
Here's one for you guys. Last night I take my car out. As soon as I hit 6 pounds the engine shuts off. If I shut it off and stay out of boost it runs fine. I have a brand new missing link, is it not working? What gives?? I do get a CEL from it. Just wondering if someone had the same problem before I go tearing into my car again. Thanks fellas.

are u using emanage by chance and using the voltage clamp if so that can cause it, bad map sensor. go to honda and find out the CEL, or go to autozone and get a code reader and see what it is, that will help determine where to start. it can also be the IAT barometric pressure code, that shouldnt do what ur talkin about. get the code, and here is a trick,
make the car do what ur talkin about, stop, turn car off, unhook negative of battery, wait 15 seconds, plug back on, then go drive and boost and see if that works

There is not a check engine light that will just shut the car off, you might be running way too rich and drowning the motor, causing it to shut off. If you are severely lean it can cause the motor to stop running, but there's usually a lot of other signs such as tons of smoke and broken internal parts.
If you have access to a wideband, plug that in and give it a try and then go from there. If you have emanage, you may have a bad connection somewhere or something programmed that the stock ECM does not like.

yeah I bought a code reader from the cornwell guy. I think its running itself in open loop mode and flooding the engine. Im getting the map baro code and the 02 sensor heater circuit code. The map voltage correction with the 440s is so out of whack that the computer freaks out and drowns the engine. I also think that the missing link is messed up. Im gunna just use the boost cut on the emanage and run stock injectors with 2 440s as subs. Thanks for the input though.
