DIY: E-manage support tool
is all i really need for the support tool a usb -> 9 pin serial port cable and a copy of the support tool CD? i think i am just gonna do this because i can get the cable for like $10 and i know a dude who has the CD, so i can just copy that, right?

Rep Power: 511 ok now some dude is telling me that cable will fit but there is a special microchip in the greddy cable that alters the signal so u cant use any cable. anyone know anything about this?
