is it possible to get an LX auto down to low 15's?

hey all im thinking about going with a T28BB turbo on my LX auto. thing is that i want to hit low 15s (15.0-15.2), is this even possible without blowing the transmission? i was hoping i wouldnt have to beef up the tranny, maybe just get a tranny cooler. oh, and would it be better to go with a T28 or a T3? i was thinking about getting the t28 cause of the quicker spool up time since i want to get into auto-x a bit. and yes i know i have an automatic, but i just want to do it for fun.

really? on an automatic? excellent . ill prolly go with the t28BB then. some extra power compared to the t25, fuel economy will still be there while im not revving up, and quick spool. TSI kits looking good rigth about now.

yeah its possible. I'm guessing that my car is in the 14's based upon me beating cars that run 15.0, 14-. Its an auto on an upgraded T3. Its good because the power is there when u need it. When I drive around normally, it doesnt suck up all the gas and power isn't being wasted.

ah yeah, i didnt even think of u beating that RSX gotti lol. thnx, so yeah an LX should be down there. plus dont forget i wanna try to get into autox or circuit racing or something. so id need the turbo to be spooled up pretty much at all rpms since i wouldnt be able to control what gear im in. well to an extent but not much. or do u think its not possible to do with a t28?

oh, would it be safe to launch with a turbo on an automatic? maybe the T3 would be better since it doesnt spool till around 3k and then its possible to launch at like 2250 or 2500rpm. anyone know when the T28 spools up? so maybe itd still be ok to launch at like 2000-2250rpm.

oh yeah, is it necessary (or recommended?) to get the turbo header? or is there no point for what i want to do and i should just stick with the turbo manifold that comes with most kits?
