hey guys i need info on a b18 swap for my civic

I dont know a whole lot about the b18 swap in civics but im wanting to put one in my car that isnt v tec, any info would be helpful.

if you dont want VTEC then you'll lose about 23.4 HP in the rear wheels.....

I don't know of what help anyone here would be. I don't think ANYONE on the board has done it yet.

Props for your origionality, and I'll keep an eye on this thread and see how you do.

For now, I would just check Honda Tech and see what they say.

its been done, is it worth it? no. will it get u more power then a k20 swap? no. so why do it? well u can if u want to be original, but if u want to be practical go with a k20 swap. i looked into a b-series swap way back when, its just not worth it. wiring would be a bitch, plus itd be hard to find a 2001 b-series engine, cause if u dont itll be illegal. unless ur civic isnt a 2001, then its illegal no matter what.

^^Ls motors are pretty good. They run pretty nice on boost. you plan on running all motor or boost?
