I'm new to the game with limited knowledge of cars! I bought a 2001 civic dx, thinking there would be thousands of parts to make it look and run nice! well i was a bit wrong, it's a little harder then I thought! I through a rod with a 50 shot of Nitrous (NX)! So after realzing a k20 swap was outta buget, i thought all motor.... that didn't look good! so I'm researching Turbos, I found a great kit with a garret t25! My enigine is now an ex(manual)! I have the nitrous lying around, and was wondering, if I get the NX maximizer, can I safely boost? I'm doing my internals (8.5:1 forged pistons/rods, sleeves(or is block gaurd better?), for electornics, e-01 boost controller/emanage/nx maximizer) what else am I going to need????? Please help??

i take it you mean can you run nitrous and boost at the same time? i would reccomend you install your turbo setup, run the dyno and get it tuned properly, then mess with your nitrous kit.

as far as what you've listed, it sounds good.

uh....you can boost ur little t25 there buddy if ya want..but you aren't gonna go anywhere fast. If ur gonna get a kit, either check out the SF kit, which has T3, FMIC and fuel system, or wait around for the upcoming Dezod kit, which also running T3. You can shoot nitrous while boosting if you want. But be careful wit that ****. A lot of people spray into their intercooler to really lower the temp of the air going into the engine. If you got the money, go for it.

If you're running an automatic transmission a T25bb (ball bearings = good) might be good, running a T3 might generate way too much power and that might kill your tranny. A lot of people on this board have said that for an auto. the T25bb generates the low boost levels and quick spool times that would be good for an auto.

If you're running a 5spd, then yeah, go with the SF kit, or the Dezod kit, which looks to be producing some good results.

yes but a complete kit including: turbo, all neccessary pipimg, intercooler, exaust manifold, fuel injector interface,fuel pressure regulator, injector control unit and turbo timer, extra injectors! for only $1800! used, but in excellent condition!!! and about the nitrous, the nx maximizer would cut it off as soon as the turbo was spooled, so i wouldn't be running both at the same time!.......... and thanx for the info about dynoing then trying nitrous!....... OH one last thing, garret is making a larger turbo that will fit in place of the t25, and it puts out more then the t3, so i'm happy where i'm at!.......... How would I go about building alchol injection???? whats needed, where do i get it how do i install it?
