The beginning

Okay, so i've decided to power up the civic as opposed to buying a new car.
I ordered my V2 today and im going to be recieving it and installing it next week.
Next comes header and magnaflow exhaust.
Then, well now im still saving up for a custom turbo.
But I do have one question, the guy at the shop told me that they could do all those mods for around 6 - 7gs. Is that a good price? I mean for everything turbo included and what not, and mind you guys I'm not a penny pincher if its the best, then its the best and im ordering it.

---------------------------------
BTW: if you wanted to know this is all over a girl and the fact that im an impulsive buyer HA HA HA!!!!!

dude, don't waste your money. just spend the money on a turbo and be done. intake, headers, etc are just useless if you plan on getting a turbo.

um a turbo will cost you between 2500 to 4000 ish there are many kits out there sf, turbodiscounters ect. at most to install it it should be around 800 and there are a few things you can do befor you take it in to cut down on the hours the spend on it so the hours you pay for

You are wasting your money. Why buy parts that will be replaced when you get a turbo kit. Just save your cash.

why buy the parts, well because its not going to be a kit, its going to be a pieced together one. Anyways, I wont be turboing it till i get the cash together which is going to be like march sometime, and thats when taxes come back, the ihe stuff is like temp, and like the guy above said the exhaust is still usefull, at most i might have to exchange out the ih and i dont have a problem with it. But as i said in other post, the point of this is to see what i can get out of my engine before it explodes, then im swappin it, but i want to pay it off b4 the swap and ill finish paying it off end of next year.
./edit
OOO, one question since i obviously dont know too much about mods, why would i have to change the intake or header with anyones kit, why cant i just adapt the kits to fit? Is that a bad idea?

first off, the header you want to buy either kamikaze, dc, whatever does not have a flange for you to slap that turbo you are going to buy on there, so therefore you cant modify that header to run with a turbo. you can use the piping from an intake as your charge pipe, mind you you'll have to cut a hole and weld a flange for your BOV, but seriously why waste your money...driving stock wont hurt you for 5 months, plus i/h/e give you no power what so ever

Bro... Figure out exactly what you want to do then research it. This site is a wealth of knowledge at your disposal. Don't shiet on it by asking these types of questions. We all help each other out but all you have to do is SEARCH. There is a whole FAQ on turbos. Good luck with your modding
