what if you upgrade to t3/t4 turbo on the SF is that any better or would it take to long to spool up. if you want to go hire on the boost can you do it with internal wasegate or do you have to upgrade the external wasegate

my god I know auto sf kits putting out 185whp(boostedciviczex) and this kit in works got that damn t3 lag to 3500rpms its a regular civic...
his kit was never good at numbers only thing went for it I will be honest in my opinion is street legalness.
in all honesty the best kit on this site despite some quality control issues is the SF kit. It will smoke wrx seen it in action...
I still stand by recomending all autos to use t25bb though because you'll regret being a "civic" na car until the 3500 rpms than by time you start feeling the power never get full advantage of it.
ohh a damn good turbo is the hks t28bb with ceramic blades catalyst

On another note... T3 Super 60 seems like the turbo of choice. I upgraded to a T3/T04B after about 8 months of boosting and it was ok, but my T3 with a .48 AR would run faster times with the same boost level. The larger turbo was just faster on the highway.

Stock internals with out modifying ignition timing or adding alchol, about 8. I would daily drive it between 6.5 and 7. Then track it at about 8-8.5. I did replace my HG with the Nippon leakless though. With alcohol, I hit just over 10psi (just once) and it was fast as hell but the motor didn't sound too happy. Pull back timing and you can run 8psi daily no problem. And yes, T3 is the way to go...
I'm putting an 18G on my 05 tC. That should be fun

A properly built motor can get you a lot more than 10psi. The tranny does need work though. Beef up the synchros, upgrade the clutch quite a bit (ACT Xtreme2 or a puck), and upgrade your axels if you plan on making some serious power. An LSD will help too.
Any company can make custom pistions for you if you just send them your specs. I know that turbospecialties has them available pretty cheaply. Do a search I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.
