Manifold Questions
ive seen some manifolds for turbos and this is starting to confuse me.. the manifold is basicly suposed to take place of the headers right? i ony see one opening at the end.. and thats where the hot end of the turbo is bolted to..
so when its bolted there... theres no other place for the exhaust gas to go to.. which means theres no need for an exhaust..
its really confusing me so help me out a bit on how thats all set

Rep Power: 335 exhaust goes into manifold, through the turbo (to spin the compressor), then down the downpipe, and out the exhaust system.
on the intake side, air goes through the filter, into the pipes, through the turbo inlet where it gets compressed, through the intercooler (sometimes), then back up to the throttle body and into the engine.
Of course, this is all really simplified in this post.
