Running a turbo setup with a stock box question
Running a turbo setup with a stock box question
Hi guys! I'm just new here and I would like to get a turbo setup for my car and I have a question about it. My frend has one already on his 2001 Civic but he's not using any piggy back system for it. He has everything for the turbo except a box for the engine management but when I asked about if there's problems with running without the box he says there wasn't any and he's been runnin his car on 7psi without having any probs. He has a Greddy Rebic AIC and Turbonetics to control the boost. His internals are stock.
Is that ok to run on a stock box without getting a piggy back? Hope you guys can help. Thanks!

The Rebic AIC is a piggyback. It's an Additional Injector Controller, and that's currently the easiest way to provide enough fuel for boost.
