LX downpipe
Hey guys, i was wondering if the LX and EX downpipes are the same. I am looking into buying an HP turbo, but it says 01-03 civic vtec.
People are saying it will fit and work, but to make sure the downpipe will fit. what do you guys think? would i have to get a custom weld or something?

Rep Power: 0 No the downpipes are not the same. If it says 01-03 civic vtec...its most likely an EX downpipe. Before I can help you any more, I need to know whether you have an LX or an EX.

Rep Power: 0 you can get one make for ur car local for somewhere around $200-250. I think HP turbo does not come with a fuel syste. So you got to do something with that.

Rep Power: 0 downpipe is gonna cost you betwe 40 and 80 bucks. not bad. lx downpipe is gonna be shorter than EX.

Rep Power: 0 yeah the cat on the LX sits right up on the header. whereas ex header goes to a downpipe then the cat to exhaust.
