Honda parts offering intake/filter upgrade?

I was in a hond dealership's parts dept. and thought I'd saw what looked like a K&N intake/filter kit...Is this usual for honda to have these on hand? I thought they didn't like to deal with aftermarket items... Anyways, the reason I ask is cuz I'm thinking of doing the CAI swap.. what're the costs for everything.. and for a 5sp LX coupe, would I feel significant increased horespower?

first off this is in the wrong forum. No it isnt unusual for honda to carry those. My honda dealerships carry all kinds of aftermarket products. One dealer even stocks turbo kits. Now if you want to get a CAI dont buy it from the dealer, you will end up spending too much. Get it from a online site. the costs vary depending on what CAI kit you get. it isnt a swap, basically you just take off your stock air intake and install the new one. all parts come in the kit that you buy. honestly though, you might not feel much HP increase, maybe 1-3. our cars dont do much with a CAI.

Yeah there are no aftermarket parts at my dealer, nor will they install any you bring in. It's not like Honda to sell products that don't meet OEM standards. And yes, K&N is worse than stock.

1. Wrong Forum
2. Its somewhat normal, the one around me does sell all aftermarket parts....
3. Search around, intakes and CAI have been covered hundreds of times...
