Swap Questions

Ok guys I am kinda new to the idea of swapping but I was wondering. How much would a K20A2 run me buying it and ahving it installed. Also would I have to do anything with my transmission? I have an 03 LX auto and I wanna gain some more HP so I am looking at swapping.

so it should be right around $3700 if you can get good deals on stuff ... without the cost of installation

Any suggestions of any places in the Midwest that could do the work. I Live in MI but I am willing to drive it almost anywhere to get it done.

motor would be around close to 5, mounts 500$ and radiator u can get from a junk yard from an SI ......a shop is doing a swap for me and a Stage II turbo on it...u should come check it out

There's a place in detroit that did the one for the Charcoal and Orange Sedan for the body kit company I can't remember (anyone know which car I'm talking about?)
Anyways, I met the guy who did it. If someone starts rattling off shops in Detroit, I'll probably remember it. Oh yeah, if you've got an auto... add a manual conversion to your list of **** to pay for and get done... K20A2s are all 6 speeds.
