Talking FMU needed?

is a FMU needed if I am only running 7-8 PSI? and at that rate should i also have an upgraded fuel pump too??? I'm asking this because I'm getting my turbo and all installed in the next week or so but wondering whether I need it if i'm only planning on boosting to 7-8 PSI for right now and also new question...

Do i need to upgrade the fuel pump and injectors to support the FMU?
and what would you recommend me running if i just got the FMU with no other Fuel mods and put in the 4:1 ratio disc??? or the 6:1??? whichever is gonna keep me safe but not run me rich as a mothafu and also not gonna cause one of my injectors to fail on me...

Also would i still need this FMU if I am planning on getting a Return Fuel System Setup in the near future? and also if i did the newly found DIY of adding RSX injectors would i not need it for my application yet?

Drk01Civic is an unknown quantity at this point
Are you asking if you can just run the stock fuel system on 7-8 lbs of boost? Are you talking about Vortech's FMU?

There are people on here that know more about fuel systems than me but........
If you want to run 7-8 lbs you have to run a rising rate fuel system. The Vortech FMU is made for return style fuel systems, so it will do nothing for you by itself. With some modifications and an inline fuel pump it can be made to work. That is what SF has done. Aeromotive makes a Digital FMU specifically for returnless fuel systems. It works similar to the SF fuel kit.
Then there is the return conversion. That opens up alot of options. The Emanage seems to be most popular around here.

HyaBoosta will become famous soon enough
the SF kit is just an FMU with an inline pump. it is not a return fuel system. The sf fuel system can be used on it's own. It will put more fuel thru your stock injectors according to your psi. but it is only safe up to about 10psi or so. then your pushing your stock injector duty cycle. a return fuel setup can be used on it's own with the use of a SAFC to tune the correct fuel curve. but if you want to go higher than 10psi your goign to need to get larger injectors (still waiting on word from opto if RSX-S injectors will fit into our stock fuel rail without modification.) and an e-manage to run the injector settings and ignition timing.
