Good News from Cybernation!
They don't care. They just want to make $ and stick with what they like. #s show profits. The #s that the 7th Gen produce are pale. The popularity of Hondata is enough to find enough demanding Civic owners. I'd have to say, because of the D17s bad reputation, Hondata doesn't want to put their money into it and expect the D17 to be the platform that brings them $... unlike the K-series engines.
If you were Hondata, would you seriously take that risk?
Surely enough Hondata could come up with something good for a boosted Civic, but now we go back into the importance of this "demand" thing. There are only so many turboed Civics. But hopefully it won't take 5 years for Hondata to find interest in a boosted D17 as from now til then, there will be a lot more turboed Civics.
