Speedracer32 is an unknown quantity at this point
ummm...the paint should be reflecting the heat from gettin in the pipes
Why would you want heat in the pipes when the colder the air the more combustible it is
The only thng you want hot is the exhaust gases spinning the turbine

the paint should be fine

Ohhh ok... i thought that you wanted aluminum IC piping to let some of the heat out of the pipes while it's traveling to the ITM... wasn't thinking it was just for reflecting heat away from it... so which would be better then In your opinion??? leave the 1200 degree resistant paint on or use my trusty Aircraft grade paint remover and polishing them up with metal polish???

Just leave it??? It'll be fine?? i would be losing power from the paint keeping heat in the system? or it's not gonna affect the heat dispersion?? thanks

it will reflect the heat coming off of the engine. It will be better.

I was thinking the same thing... You should leave it because the engine will get hot and a lot of people want heat shields and stuff...
