Side mount IC?
Im trying to come up with a solution for the IC problem on my Ex. I was thinking. if i relocate the battery to the trunk and cut an opening where the battery sits in the engine bay then i can use a side mount IC off a R34 Skyline or SR20DET. it will sit right where the CAI sits except closer to the opening on the bumper. with a little more shaving of that opening it will sit right in front of the air flow like a front mount. My only concern is will this boost my ex to 8lbs? does anyone know what the stock boost is on a sr20det or rb26dett? if it's over 8lbs then im sure if it can support 8 on those larger displacement engines then it can easily hold 8 on my little 1.7L... Right?

I'm not sure about the boost answer but would the smic off the eclipse turbo work for you too? I know someone with a stock system on their eclipse with smic but I'm not sure what their boost is, I know it's over 10 though
well the Side mounts that i think have the best chance for performance and fit i think would be either off an rb26dett or sr20det or a 300zx TT .

as far as inlet and outlet this one looks perfect.

About the windshield resevoir.. I was thinking about taking my stock one out, getting a small one from like a 3 banger and just relocating it.. That way you can still have SOME use of the jets! I'd go with that and an fmic instead of the smic personally..
